This special Poly jazz session is decamping to Emmanuel Baptist Church on Western Terrace, owing to ongoing building works in The Poly’s theatre.
Ed Jones comes to Jazz at The Poly supported by the exciting organ & guitar trio made up of leading jazz players from the south west. A swinging and grooving night not to be missed!
Ed Jones has worked with an amazing spectrum of jazz, R & B, and hip-hop legends, including George Benson, Horace Silver,Dianne Reeves, Dr Lonnie Smith, Jamie Cullum, Incognito, Us3, Tina Turner, Omar, D’Angelo, Killer Shrimp with Damon Brown, and many more. He has released several acclaimed albums and toured worldwide with his own and other bands, playing an impressive range of styles from hard swinging jazz and experimental music, to funk and hip-hop.
